Plogging is simple…

it’s the act of picking up litter whilst jogging.

It is a versatile activity and can be incorporated into any runners workout plan, whether you are a serious runner or you like an occasional leisurely jog.

It doesn’t have to involve frequent stops, bulky bags and litter grabbers.

All you really need is running shoes and a pair of gloves to protect your hands. A bag is handy to carry the litter you find, but even if you don’t like running with a bag plogging can still be for you.

Litter picking is something everyone can do to help their community. Whether it’s a group litter run organised by a running club or simply picking up one bit of litter and popping it in the nearest bin; it will all help make a positive difference to our city and will help keep litter out of our canals, parks and off our streets.

Litter Sprints
